Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport -Maasai Lodge
Upon arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to Maasai Lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight at Maasai Lodge. Original Maasai Lodge-Africa Amini Life-Is a special place where you will find your peace straight away. Surrounded by the wild of the Maasai Steppe, This Lodge consists of seven bungalows, all with an amazing view of the Kilimanjaro Mountain. This is the Savanah the home base of the Maasai people. The Lodge is the perfect place to learn more about Maasai traditions and rituals, while at the same time slowing your own pace. This place is about togetherness, exchanging stories and learning from each other. You will enjoy the carefully made dishes of local chefs in this Kenya & Tanzania Safari.

Day 02: Maasai Lodge
You will take part in traditional activities such as spear throwing with the Maasai, Donkey Ride (Kids), Maasai Dances, Guided nature walk. Later in the evening you will participate in the traditional Maasai Sunset dance and the bonfire storytelling. All meals and overnight at Maasai Lodge

Day 03: Maasai Lodge – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, Depart with packed Lunches and drive to Tarangire National Park for game drive in Tarangire National Park. Tarangire Park is located slightly off the main safari route. It is a lovely, quiet park in Northern Tanzania and is most famous for its elephant migration, birding and quiet authentic safari atmosphere. The majority of travelers to the region either miss out on Tarangire altogether, or venture into the park only for a matter of hours, leaving parts of Tarangire virtually untouched. Dinner and overnight at Lake Burunge Tented Lodge.

Day 04: Tarangire National Park -Mto wa Mbu- (Biking Activities)- Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast check out from Lake Burunge Tented Lodge, head for your today’s activity – the mountain bike. Biking takes place in Mto wa Mbu, a village nestled in the Rift Valley between Africa’s eastern and western escarpment 2 hours from Arusha, Its one of the most culturally diverse villages in Africa with over 18,000 inhabitants from 120 different tribes. Its primary industry is agriculture. During the 2 hours biking you will get to mix with the locals. This biking tour winds up between banana and rice plantations while visiting 5 tribal communities along the way. Later Driver to Ngorongoro Lodge/ Camp for Dinner and overnight.

Day 05: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast descend to the floor of the crater for game viewing drives. Often described as the ‘Eighth’ wonder of the World, the Ngorongoro crater is so spectacular, a natural sanctuary for over 25,000 animals, including the black rhino. It is also a conservation area inhabited by the Masai tribe. Picnic lunch will be served at one of the designated picnic sites on the crater floor. As the sun sets on the western side of the crater rim, ascend and drive to the Lodge to arrive in time to refresh for dinner. All meals and overnight at Ngorongoro Lodge/ Camp.

Day 06 & 07: Ngorongoro Crater -Central Serengeti National Park
Two full days in the Central Serengeti with a flexible schedule of Game drives. After breakfast begin your game drive toward the Central part of Serengeti. As you crest the hillside, spread out before you, as far as the eyes can see, is the vast Serengeti. Serengeti means “endless plains” in Kiswahili and this 6,900 sq. mile (18,000 sq. km) park is inhabited by more than 2 million large animals including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles. Large predators including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas are drawn to the area by this abundance of prey which migrates throughout the park. Many smaller animals like rock hyrax, bat-eared foxes, mongoose, honey badger, jackals, monkeys, baboons and African hares also inhabit the area along with nearly 500 species of birds. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Lodge/Camp.

Day 08: Central Serengeti to North Serengeti National
After Breakfast at Serengeti Lodge, you will depart with packed Lunches to the North of Serengeti in search for the great wildebeest Migration. In the afternoon Picnic Lunches will be served at one of the designated areas, After Lunch you will continue with the game viewing drive until evening, then proceed to the Mara River Camp for Dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Northern Serengeti National Park
After breakfast you will go for a full game viewing. The northern Serengeti is a wide, unspoiled environment with undulating wooded hills, open grassy sections, and substantial granite outcrops. The Northern Serengeti allows avoiding the crowds because it is remote and rather inaccessible, sandwiched between the Central Serengeti and Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve to the north. As a result, it receives fewer visitors. You will have a picnic lunch in a specially designated spot in the afternoon following a few hours of game viewing before returning to the Camp. After a day full of exploration your guide will drive you to a Camp in Serengeti for a mouth-watering buffet dinner and overnight at Mara River Camp.

Day 10: Northern Serengeti National Park to Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast you will be transferred to Kogatende airstrip for your scheduled flight to Maasai Mara Met at Maasai Mara Airstrip by your Safari driver guide and drive to the Camp for lunch. After lunch embark on an afternoon game viewing drive. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp.

Day 11: Masai Mara National Reserve
Depart after breakfast and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve with a picnic lunch for the whole day game viewing. Situated southwest of Kenya, the Masai Mara National Reserve is a land of breathtaking vistas, abundant wildlife, and endless plains. The quintessential Masai Mara safari delivers many attractions and is home to an excellent year-round concentration of game. It also hosts the two million animals that make up the great migration. The Masai Mara National Reserve was named after the Maasai people who inhabit the area, as well as the Mara River, which flows through this great reserve. In the evening return to the Ashnil Mara Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Maasai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi – Jomo Kenyata International airport
Wake up early and proceed for your last game drive in the reserve followed by a late breakfast at the camp. Check out from the Camp departing for Nairobi arriving in Nairobi in the late afternoon, have late lunch then you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your home flight.
