The trip is magical: spend one hour silently floating over the savannah in a hot air balloon and it will fill you with enough memories to last a lifetime. You take off in the wee hours of the morning, float in the sky, drifting with the whim of the wind, overlooking the plains, just in time to experience a breathtaking African Sunrise, as sun comes up and catch a bird’s eye view of the national park.
After the flight, you will be treated to a luxurious breakfast to complete the experience as you relax and absorb the moment. We operate Hot Air Balloon Safaris in the Masai Mara Game Reserve, South Western Kenya.
Our tariff for the period of 01st January 2019 – 31st December 2019 is detailed as below. Njewa safaris Ltd. reserves the right to amend the above tariff without prior notice should circumstances beyond our control so dictate.

For all confirmed bookings, a ten days pre-payment is required either by company Cash or transfer (transfer will incur bank charges).
We operate balloon safaris throughout the year at the Sarova & Serena Bases. The Mara Safari Club based remains closed for the months of April & May only.
The evening prior to the flight, our pilot or rep will brief the clients and confirm the time to meet the following morning. If the clients are staying at one of the lodges where we operate from, they will have to wait at the reception at around 5:30 am Typically, the Balloon Safari itself is around an hour long (weather permitting), followed by champagne breakfast in the bush! You are then driven back to the lodge/camp with game viewing en route.
