Manyara Wildlife Safari Camp

Somewhere in the middle of the rolling grasslands of Tanzania , against the dramatic angles of the Rift Valley Escarpment and the overlooking Lake Manyara stands The Lake Manyara Wildlife Safari Camp. The 600 meter high golden Rift Valley Escarpment creates a crater on the edge of which the camp is located.

Lake Manyara Wildlife Camp is able to offer the most luxurious safari accommodations while remaining true to the natural element of the safari experience. Our camp comprises of ten luxurious canvas tented lodgings and sixteen self-contained cottages, all with private balconies overlooking the real Africa, majestic, unfiltered and unadorned. Our Honeymoon suite is particularly impressive, with two private viewing decks, Jacuzzi bathtub and King Size bed with rich furnishings including luxury bathrobes.

The Bush Dinner experience is not to be missed, as special performers will join you at the dining site to showcase some real Tanzania n culture. The camp also offers night drives upon request, enabling you to view Lake Manyara’s diverse nightlife.

Our renowned restaurant caters to all tastes, serving up a delicious variety of Barbeque, Chinese, n, Italian and Continental dishes until from 7am to 11pm. All of our bedrooms include large beds, en-suite bathrooms, private balconies or viewing decks, electricity during fixed generator hours, luggage storage space as well as an infinity swimming pool.

Ten canvas safari tents and sixteen self-contained cottages are scattered across the camp to blend into the natural surroundings and offer unique views from individual balconies of the real African wilderness. Our Honeymoon Suite offers the most unbelievable private view of Lake Manyara, all of the accommodations feature balconies, perfect for watching the region’s famous sunsets.

Tents and cottages are designed with comfort and location in mind, with our individual balconies giving you an unobstructed view of the Lake Manyara region and impressive Rift Valley Escarpment. Our accommodation features natural furnishings with wooden beds, traditional ‘Nyazi’ roofing and lush dining area.
